Fourth of July celebrations usually include inviting friends over for hotdogs on the grill. But save room for some yummy cherry or marionberry pie.

Yep, there’s nothing more American than baseball, hotdogs and an apple or cherry pie.

Since I’ve moved my life to Wenatchee, I’ve learned two important things - for a great 4th of July celebration.

When I regularly rode my bike, I would stop by Anjou Bakery for an Americano and a cookie, cinnamon roll or a baguette sandwich.

After awhile, I observed first hand - lots of happy people picking up their delicious pies. Families all around our area would reserve Anjou Bakery pies for Thanksgiving, Christmas and The 4th of July.
