It has been a long time since I packed the family in the car at night and went crusin’ for Christmas lights, so this weekend I decided to go out on my own and check things out. In the past, we would just randomly drive around until we found some but now there are certain streets you have to hit. Google says I need to check out

1907 Lion Place, Wenatchee.

2510 Day Drive, Wenatchee.

30 N. Western Ave., Wenatchee.

624 8th St. NE, East Wenatchee.

1618 N. Ashland Ave., East Wenatchee.

658 Sally Drive, Wenatchee.

1700 Brandi Court, Wenatchee.

Christmas lighting traditions have come a long way since my kids were little and now a house that looks like it’s right out of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation seems a little passe. What would Clark Griswold do now with today's LED lights and technology?

I spent Friday night cruzin’ around Wenatchee and East Wenatchee with a friend looking at the Christmas splendor and then we finished it off with the big Nelson display (40,000 LED lights and all) At Annie’s Fun Farm in East Wenatchee just outside of town right off grant road.

Wow, this is a computer-controlled light show with lights synchronized to the music that you can listen to on your car radio. The car was warm the snow was falling and it was great. I shot a short video on my phone, but for the purpose of this article, I have several shots for you to check out. By this weekend there will be more Christmas decorations for you. Enjoy crusin’ for Christmas
