World Class Surfing competition is coming to Chelan

I recently took my son to ride the water slides at Slidewaters in Chelan - easily one of the best Summer vacation activity locations in the entire Pacific Northwest.

Got little toddlers? Slidewaters is great for kids with The Bugaboo and Lit Squirt slides and a splash pad, perfect for young kiddos.

I did notice that Slidewaters has changed a bunch since I've last visited.

Its now home to a fun rope course - The High Trek Chelan Ropes & Ziplines PLUS a great place to rip it on a surf board: Lakeside Surf.

The Lakeside Surf location is situated high above the relaxing Slidewaters Lazy River.

Love to surf? Or always wanted to learn? Anyone, from beginners to experts, can reserve time and surf (or get lessons and rent a surf board) on the "World's largest and greatest stationary wave".

Come Hungry, Lakeside Surf offers great food and beverage - think Baja California with delicious Baja Tacos and beer - For Labor Day Weekend - delicious smoked pulled pork sandwiches will be offered from a food truck, parked and ready to serve you for upcoming Continental Surf Cup

This Labor Day weekend, the "Citywave USA" wave pool (that guarantees a continuous wave up to 6 feet high and 54 feet long) will host the first ever Continental Surf Cup.

-The Surf Cup will feature 32 of the best River Surfers in the world. This event free for spectators and takes place this Friday and Saturday, Labor Day Weekend, September 3rd and 4th.
