Five exceptional individuals have earned the distinction of being inducted into the 2023 Quincy School District Wall of Fame.


The five

Whitney Gregg, track-and-field athlete state champ, plus her track coach Chris Baumgartner, former track athlete Corey Medina, multi-sport standout Brad Duda, and community committed Harriet Weber.


Brad Duda, is the only undefeated wrestling champion in Quincy High history. He excelled in multiple high school sports, including baseball, where he helped his squad win the State title. went on to play college baseball. Brad is now an educator with multiple degrees from several universities.


Chris Baumgartner has not only supported Quincy sports over the years but has coached many sports including his most noted, Track and Field. Mr. Baumgartner now serves as a Quincy school board member.


Harriet Weber is doing her part to keep the arts alive and well in Quincy. She not only does a great job exposing Quincy’s youth to the arts, but her involvement with the Quincy Valley Historical Society has allowed Quincy's elementary students to connect with local and state history. Quincy and George are in a much better place because of her.


Cory Medina, was a standout track athlete with personal bests in five events - still standing for over 20 years and counting.  Cory proudly wore the green and gold at multiple state track meets. He now leads as a teacher and coach for Quincy schools.


Whitney Gregg is the principal of the new Ancient Lakes Elementary. She brought home a state title for Quincy High School in the 2A WA state pole vaulting event. Whitney dedicates her current chapter of life - investing in Quincy’s youth. Her attention to leadership as a principal, teacher, and track and field coach is preparing kids for middle school and beyond. 


The Quincy School District is asking you to join them and their families on this special event.

The ceremony takes place at halftime of a Quincy Jackrabbit home football game: on Friday night, September 15th, 2023 at Quincy High School stadium.

The Plaques they receive will be displayed and will remain on the wall outside of the Quincy High School gym.

The Best Movies Released in the '90s

To celebrate the incredible cinematic achievements of the decade, Stacker compiled data on all 1990s movies to come up with a Stacker score—a weighted index split evenly between IMDb and Metacritic scores. To qualify, the film had to have a premiere date between 1990 and 1999, have a Metascore, and have at least 1,000 votes. Ties were broken by Metascore and further ties were broken by votes.
