There’s something about TikTok that’s more fun for me to interact with than, say Facebook or Instagram. The rise to fame of TikTok stars is astonishing to me. I am mad that I watched these 6 viral video sensations because now I’ve messed up my Tiktok algorithm, but anyway, the people listed below have amassed over one million followers on TikTok. The cool thing is that they were all born right here in Washington state.

When I hit up Tiktok, I'm there to watch everything from adorable and entertaining pets (like the one who taps the buttons that say “Feed me, B*tch!”) to that lady who goes, “Everybody’s so creative!” whenever she does commentary on people’s horrible recipe videos, to the lady who is "the Black teacher at Hogwarts."

TikTok videos help me release endorphins and laugh my tushie off! Speaking of LMAO, I went to a comedy show in Richland with some friends last week to see my friend Bahiyyih Mudd's comedy set, and the headliner was TikTok's newest sensation, Nate Jackson. He owns Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma and has been doing stand-up comedy for 18 years. Here's the thing: He said 3 months ago, a buddy of his told him to make a TikTok video, which he did. He's gone from “0 to 2.1 million followers in 125 days.” That's amazing! Nate is now selling out his comedy shows across the country because of TikTok. The show I went to in Tri Cities sold out-FOUR TIMES in a row for his one night show. Looks like I was lucky to have bought my ticket when I did!

Chances are, you know someone who has downloaded the TikTok app. Some of them may have deleted it already because they think the Chinese are spying on them and learning all their passwords and stuff. The United States Government won’t even let their employees use it on company-issued phones. I have nothing in particular to hide and if anybody tries to use my passwords to hack into my bank account, they will be sorely disappointed.

Their quick TikTok videos get millions of views and have some of us scratching our heads wondering why. I have found what I am calling “The TikTok Bro Dudes of Washington.”  If you are over the age of 35, I double dare you to see if you can recognize any of them. Kudos if you do.
