Today's National Coffee Day, and Washington's coffee chains are offering real deals. Starbucks debuted a new iced espresso drink called the Aerocano — Blonde Espresso air-whipped into a light foam with a cascading visual effect — alongside three new Mini Pies: Apple Crumble, Pecan, and Pumpkin.

Dutch Bros customers who buy two drinks at participating locations walk away with a set of mystery straw toppers, a small but genuinely fun touch. Peet's Coffee is running the boldest deal of the bunch: Peetnik Rewards members can grab a medium coffee for a quarter today, or spring for a $30 Cold Brew Pass through September 30th that unlocks one free medium cold brew daily for a full month.

Paris Baguette, with multiple Puget Sound locations, is giving rewards members a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase. Einstein Bros. Bagels — with locations in Seattle, Mercer Island, Pullman, and several campus sites — is offering the same deal, though you'll need to mention the promotion in-store to actually redeem it.

Krispy Kreme rolled out a new Original Glazed Coffee Flavored Doughnut to mark the occasion at its Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, Richland, Yakima, Vancouver, and Issaquah locations. Dairy Queen's deal runs longer than most — a small DQ Coffee Cooler for just $3 at participating locations clear through November 1st.

Travelers get in on this one too. Circle K is handing out a free medium coffee — hot or iced — at any of its 7,000 locations nationwide, redeemable through the Circle K app. Pilot Travel Centers (including Flying J) is going even further: free hot coffee in any size, no purchase required, just pull up the Pilot app at checkout.

For anyone road-tripping across North Central Washington today — heading over the pass, running errands, or just needing a reason to treat yourself — there's a genuinely solid coffee deal within reach almost anywhere you stop.
