The Wenatchee Apple Blossom Royalty Pageant & Numerica Credit Union's 2023 Rail and Ales.
- Over the course of a calendar year, there are fun events, taking place here in the Valley. Here are the big ten!
1 - Apple Blossom Grand Parade
Apple Blossom is known all over the Pacific Northwest. This year's festival will the 104th Apple Blossom! The Stemilt Grand Parade traditionally takes place at 11am on the first Saturday in May. We also have the Keyes Fiber/Dolco Youth Parade the week before - 11am start time on the last Saturday in April. Full details on both parades- HERE
2 - East Wenatchee’s Classy Chassis
Without a doubt the biggest event in East Wenatchee! Old classic cars are all shined up and ready to roll down the packed streets of East Wenatchee. Classy Chassis rolls at 6pm on the Friday before the Apple Blossom Grand Parade. Classy Chassis Parade details - HERE
3 - Attending the Chelan County Fair in Cashmere/Douglas County Fair in Waterville
The Chelan County Fair in Cashmere (early September) and the Douglas County Fair, at the NCW Fairgrounds (late August) in Waterville attract great crowds.
4 - Rails and Ales
The most fearless/talented skiers and snowboarders are back at it again at the Numerica Credit Union’s Rails & Ales 2023. The FREE event happens - Friday night March 10th, 5pm at the Bottom of Orondo Avenue. Get more info HERE
5 - Wenatchee Wild Opening Night
The Wenatchee Wild hockey season always seems to come at the right time. Hot sweaty nights are finally replaced by crisp cool evenings - walking with your family and friends to the Town Toyota Center to see even more family and friends at the game! Get more info on Wenatchee Wild hockey HERE.
6 - Opening weekend of Sage Hills
The most used and most loved trail system returns for Hikers, runners and mountain bikers on April 1st. Sage Hills is off limits, from December 1st to March 31st. This is because our local Mule Deer use this area to feed and survive the cold Winter months in our foothills.
7 - Oktoberfest weekend's at the Town Toyota Center
Oktoberfest’s first year in Wenatchee was a huge success! It's planned to return again, for more October weekends at the Town Toyota Center parking lot - in 2023!
8 - Opening Day at Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort
Those great snow making machines - that have names - are so great! They allow our local ski area to traditionally be the first open Ski operation in the Pacific Northwest. Look into lessons, pass info and more HERE.
9 - Apple Blossom Royalty Pageant
All the drama - all the pageantry - all the tradition, resulting in the crowning of two Apple Blossom Princesses and one Apple Blossom Queen. This year to be held on Saturday February 11th - 7pm at the Numerica Performing Arts Center. Get tickets, online HERE
10 - 4th of July Fireworks at Walla Walla Point Park.
Last year was an anomaly - on an almost biblical proportion. We hardly ever have mosquito's like that in the Wenatchee Valley...That won’t happen again right? Go make plans and see the big booming fireworks at Walla Walla Point Park.
