Washington has so many success stories in music, acting, science, and entrepreneurship, that little did we know some of the biggest celebrities from each of these still live in Washington State.

Funny enough if you spend a day out in Washington you may find yourself face to face with one of these celebrities as they go out and live their everyday lives just like any one of us. So here's a list of 5 celebrities you could meet out in Washington. No, we didn't add Jeff Bezos to the list.

5.) Sir Mix-A-Lot

Sir Mix-A-Lot made his claim to fame in the 90s with some of the biggest trending songs such as Buttermilk Biscuits, Baby's got back and I Like Big Butts. All of these became synonymous with the 90s and early 2000s. Funny enough, Sir Mix-A-Lot still lives in Auburn Washington, and is seen out and about in different cities such as Kent, Auburn, Tacoma, and yes Seattle.

4.) Eddie Vedder

Kids today may not recognize the name right away, but anyone born in the 80s, or 90s will surely recognize the lead singer of Pearl Jam. Eddie still lives in Seattle and is seen a majority of the time at sporting events such as Seahawks and his favorite, Mariners games. If you're lucky enough he may even give you one of his patented guitars picks that he keeps in case fans approach him.

3.) Anna Faris

Anna Faris is most recognizable for her roles in Scary Movie 1-4, She's also acted in multiple films such as The House Bunny, The Dictator, The Hot Chick, and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs and her famous tv show, Moms. She still lives in Lake Stevens and is seen out and about with her children all around Seattle.

One of the catchiest theme songs to ever be created and one of the greatest scientists to grace classrooms across the country. Bill Nye is an engineer that had a famous tv show called Bill Nye The Science Guy that made learning science fun for kids of all ages in a tv show that was based and filmed in Seattle. Bill Nye is still seen from time to time roaming the emerald city but is also known for traveling a good amount of days out of the year. So if you're lucky enough to spot in him the wild make sure to snap a pic and give him a friendly wave.

1.) Rainn Wilson

His name may not be well known but his face sure is, Rainn Wilson starred in one of the biggest and most-watched shows in the history of television. Staring as Dwight Schrute in The Office people tuned in week after week to see what pranks would be pulled on Dwight or what crazy shenanigans he would get himself into. Fans fell in love with his dopey backwoods character that was obsessed with Scifi television and beet farming. What first seems like a strange and unreliable character quickly became everyone's favorite dope. Rainn still lives in Seattle and spends a good amount of time with his family and friends and can even be spotted doing regular day-to-day activities around Washington.
